Transfer of Credit Policies

The Lee County Technical Colleges accept transfer of competencies from other postsecondary institutions or secondary schools with the following criteria:

The transferring school must be accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

An official transcript showing a grade of 75% or better using the School District of Lee County’s grading system. This must be accepted prior to enrollment or no later than 30 days after enrollment.

Students with school credit or work experience may be admitted to programs at the Lee County Technical Colleges based on upon the number of credits or the length of their experience plus a review and conference with the instructor. An instructor test or instructor evaluation of the work experience skills will determine the amount of competencies the student will be allowed to transfer. This review will take place within 30 days of the entrance of the student into the program.
